A true local legend, The Nest has been a cornerstone of the Coachella Valley dining and nightlife scene since 1965. Over the decades, it has evolved into a vibrant destination known for its welcoming ambiance, exceptional service, and delicious fusion of Mediterranean and California-inspired cuisine. Whether you're here for an elegant dinner, cocktails with friends, or to enjoy live music, The Nest continues to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience.

Dodi Henry’s story is one of resilience and heart. Originally from Bosnia, she came to the U.S. as a young girl to help in her uncle’s restaurant. With unwavering determination, she attended College of the Desert while gaining hands-on experience in the valley’s restaurant scene. Dodi Henry embodies the American Dream of achieving success through hard work. She began her hospitality career at The Nest, working as a hostess for 19 years before being recruited by Arnold Palmer to manage his restaurant. Years later, Dodi returned to The Nest, this time as its owner.

Since taking ownership in 2010, Dodi and Kevin Henry have poured their hearts into revitalizing The Nest while honoring its iconic legacy. Under their leadership, the restaurant has grown into a lively, multi-generational gathering spot that blends tradition with modern energy.

Now joined by her three sons, Kevin Jr, Tyler and Nicholas in the family business, Dodi is carrying the torch forward, infusing The Nest with fresh passion and a focus on welcoming a new generation of diners.

The menu at The Nest strikes a perfect balance between elevated classics and bold, modern dishes. In addition to long-time favorites like Sole Piccata, Escargot, and Mom’s Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, the menu includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options to suit a wide range of tastes. Dodi’s rich European roots shine through in beloved dishes such as Goulash, Moussaka, Spinach Knish, and her homemade Bosnian sausage (Cevapcici).

Live music lights up the lounge seven nights a week, making The Nest one of the desert’s most lively and enduring nightlife scenes.

Whether you’re a longtime regular or discovering us for the first time, The Nest invites you to dine, drink, and dance the night away in timeless desert style.
